Where can I find the spare list?
To find the spare list for league games, you can go to your league page, select the “Players” tab, then click on the “Spares” button.
Please note that you will need to be signed in to https://ogcc.mycurlingclub.com/ to access the spare list. To sign in, you can do so here -> https://ogcc.mycurlingclub.com/users/sign_in. Your username will be your email and if you have trouble with your password, please reach out and we can reset it for you.
Are guests allowed to spare in league play?
Guests are prohibited from playing as a spare in any OGCC curling league.
Are the golf simulators available for booking?
The golf simulators are available for ALL members to book. To do so, please visit the simulator desk up in the curling lounge and talk to the simulator attendant to book. The booking cost for the simulators is $35/hour. Members are also welcome to join the indoor golf leagues as well.
How can I get a locker for the season?
Winter lockers are available for $50 + HST. To rent a locker, please email [email protected].
How do I report my game score?
After your game is finished, please leave the scorecard in the Scorecard Drop box. You can find the box located on the side of the shoe cleaner near the door at the end of sheet six. Please contact [email protected] to report errors in posted scores.
How does game timing work?
With the new split draw start times, please refer to the chart below for your expected pace of play*:

What are the requirements for a league game to count towards the standings?
In order for a game to count towards league play, at least two members of the original team must be present at the game. In the event that at least two players from the original team are not present, the game will be forfeited.
How do I know which colour rock to use during league play?
Prior to players’ arrival, skip names go up above glass. However, the rock colours next to each name are meant to indicate colours during an event only with spectators and do not reflect assigned rock colours for league play. As with most curling clubs, the team that wins the coin toss can still choose between taking hammer in the first, or choosing their rock colour, regardless of the colour of the rock posted next to their name.

How can I book practice ice?
Practice ice is available throughout the week, please contact [email protected].
Where can I keep personal belongings?
Please ensure any personal belongings are left in your locker or always kept with you, except when dining in the restaurant.
Is the Pro Shop open?
During curling season the Pro Shop is open Monday-Friday from 8am-4pm, and on Saturdays in November and December from 9am-3pm. Should you wish to visit the shop outside of these hours please email [email protected] to make an appointment.
Curling equipment is available in the shop, but we also accept custom orders via phone and email. Goldline delivers weekly during the curling season. To place your order contact [email protected]. You will be notified when your order arrives and you can pick it up from the Curling Office.
Are name tags available?
Club name tags can be ordered by emailing [email protected]
What is the Night of Champions?
Selected leagues playdown to qualify for our Night of Champions event where we crown a Ladies’ Champion, Men’s Champion, Open Champion and more. To find out if your league participates in this event, please check with your league convenor. Those not participating in the games on the ice are invited to come watch, cheer on their teams on the ice and celebrate the end of our season! The 2024 Night of Champions will be held on April 13, 2024.
